What You’ll Need Before Getting Started:
- A Google Ads and/or Google Analytics account with conversion tracking set up
- Access to your Lawbrokr Storefront Settings
- (Optional) Help from your internal or external marketing team
Step 1: Create a Conversion Action in Google Ads/Analytics
For Google Ads:
- Log into your Google Ads account.
- Click Tools & Settings → under “Measurement”, choose Conversions.
- Click + New Conversion Action.
- Choose Website as the conversion source.
- Enter your Storefront URL from Lawbrokr.
- Select Lead or Submit lead form as the goal.
- Customize the value, count, and attribution model.
- For the Event type select “Page load” and for Match when select “URL contains” and for the URL use /success
- Click Create and Continue to get your tag.
For Google Analytics 4 (GA4):
- Open Google Analytics → Admin → under “Property,” click Events.
- Mark your event (e.g., generate_lead or form_submit) as a Conversion.
- Use Google Tag Manager or GA4 Measurement ID to connect to Lawbrokr.
Step 2: Choose the Tag Installation Method
- Use Google Tag Manager (recommended if you're already using GTM)
- Install the tag manually in Lawbrokr
- Email the tag to a developer
Step 3: Add the Tracking Code to Lawbrokr
- Copy the Global Site Tag (gtag.js) or Google Analytics tracking snippet.
- Go to your Lawbrokr Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings → Tracking & Attribution.
- Paste the Global Tag in the Header Scripts section.
- Paste the Event Snippet or GA4 conversion event in the Conversion Scripts section.
- Click Save.
💡 If you're using Tag Manager, add the tags there instead, and skip the manual insertion.
Step 4: Test Your Setup
- Use Google’s Tag Assistant or GA4 DebugView to verify the tag fires correctly.
- Submit a test lead via your Storefront.
- Check Google Ads or Analytics for confirmation of the conversion event.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Ensure your Storefront URL matches what’s entered in Google
- Confirm that events are firing properly using browser extensions or real-time tracking
- Coordinate with your marketing or dev team for advanced setups
